Whether you love to dine, shop, or sightsee, each port of call is an opportunity for you to explore. Like an active vacation? Bike, hike or scuba your way through your vacation.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line

Royal Caribbean International is a cruise line with an active vibe that can appeal to the entire family, thanks to its spacious, innovative ships and large, ever-expanding fleet. The Royal Caribbean fleet consists of more than 25 ships, and the line takes pleasure in offering unique amenities like ice rinks, robotic bartenders, skydiving chambers, surfing simulators, zip lines, escape rooms, climbing walls, and more right on board. Even the largest ships have separate neighborhoods, each with its own theme, remarkable architecture, and particular personality. Royal Caribbean International sails all over the world, offering a diverse range of itineraries and cruise durations.

Norwegian Cruise Line – Freestyle Cruising

With its freestyle cruising strategy, Norwegian Cruise Line provides guests with more flexibility at sea than some traditional cruise lines, allowing them to choose from a variety of dining options, activities, and excursions. Norwegian provides a variety of all-inclusive packages, allowing travelers to choose the best bargain for their needs. This line sails throughout the world on a variety of itineraries, and the hull art on its ships makes each one unique and appealing for a wonderful cruise holiday.

Princess Cruises – Elegance at Sea

When passengers go on one of Princess Cruises’ more than 15 ships, they will be treated like royalty. These ships are a step up from mainstream cruise companies, with more upscale dining selections and some of the classic trappings of cruising’s golden age, such as more formal dress codes. Princess Cruises is also known for its enrichment programs, which include a variety of lectures, presentations, and discussions about ports of call and topics of interest aboard all of its ships, many of which are linked to the company’s vast Discovery program. While Princess Cruises’ passengers are on average significantly older, there are still lots of appealing and creative options for younger cruisers.

Carnival Cruises

The self-described “fun ship” line is the king of short, affordable, fun-focused cruises from U.S. ports to the Caribbean, Bahamas, Mexico and beyond. The choice of roughly one in five cruisers, its ships are notoriously lively, flashy and packed with fun features such as waterparks with multiple waterslides.

Viking Cruises

Initially known only for river cruises, this booming line has rocked the luxury yachting world in recent years with its first cross-sea vessels. Designed to carry 930 passengers each, the ships – six currently on order, with six more on order – are perfectly designed with modern Scandinavian interiors and feature intensive and unusual voyages. They’re also mostly all-inclusive, as Viking has long subscribed to the “no nickel-and-diming” philosophy. Children under 18 are not allowed on Viking.
